BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH:
My name is Chris Crouse. I was born in Sweetwater, Texas, on August 6th, 1980.
From my earliest memories I considered the Lord with love and a strong desire to please Him. From my youth I considered myself to be a sinner and knew that if I were to reach heaven’s glory it would have to be by some other means than my own works.
I joined the Primitive Baptist Church in May of 1993, at age 12, at the church located in Brownwood, Texas. I was baptized at this young age and greatly enjoyed the fellowship of God’s Saints.
I began speaking in the church of God at the age of 15. My first attempt of speaking to God's people was July 13th, 1996, at the Old Harmony Association in Central Texas. From this point I began to speak in the Lord’s name from time to time.
On June 14th, 2003, by the authority of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, Texas, a council of elders and deacons met together for the purpose of ordaining me to the work of the ministry.
On June 29th, 2003, Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church called me to serve them as their pastor, to which I accepted and moved to Illinois to serve the Lord and this wonderful church in this capacity.
